The Pillars in Mount Martha

The Pillars is a great backdrop for an adventurous couple. This is a cliffy area with unstable rocks, so comfortable shoes are a must for this location. There are a great variety of spots at this great location but beware if you are scared of hight. The Pillars ia a location well known to locals for the amazing views to the bay and the inviting colours of the water on a sunny day. The only downside is that over the years it has become a well known place for influencers so it’s best to schedule your session during the week to avoid crowds.

Inner Melbourne: Canterbury Gardens

The Canterbury gardens are located in the leafy suburb of Canterbury near Camberwell and Kew. This is a little park with a great variety of oak trees and tall pines. This particular garden has a steep hill that gives a great angle for the sunlight in the afternoon during golden hour. If you leave nearby then this is a great location for your engagement photoshoot.

Mornington Peninsula: The bathing boxes

The Bathing boxes are an iconic backdrop for your engagement photoshoot. The Mornington bathing boxes are located int he suburb of Mount Martha. On most days this beach is empty and the sand is soft and light. This is a great alternative to the Brighton Bathing boxes, although they are closer to the Melbourne CBD, they are always full of tourists and the beach is very narrow and undergoing refurbishment. The Mornington bathing boxes have both picturestic colours and also bushland nearby to give your session a variety of looks.
